Sometimes patients aren’t happy with their filler and wish for it to be dissolved. If you have had a hyaluronic acid based filler and are wanting to get it removed we offer hyalase treatment to dissolve the filler and return you to your natural state. This may due to overfilling, migration of the filler, lumps, asymmetry, late reactions or infection.
After consultation due to a small chance of allergic reaction to hyaluronidase enzyme a patch test is performed. This is done by injecting a small amount into one of the arms. If there is a no sign of rash after 30 minutes then we can proceed to injection of the troublesome area.
Whilst some results will be noticeable straight after it takes 2 weeks to see the full results.
